Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure

Project Description
Comprehensive development of electrical schematics and facility design for electric vehicle charging stations. The project includes solutions for high-power public transport fleets as well as charging infrastructure for private and collective use, ensuring efficient integration into the existing electrical grid.
Industrial Sector
Electric Mobility / Public Transport / Urban Infrastructure.
Technological Challenge

The primary challenge is ensuring the resilience of the internal distribution network against the peak energy demands required by the simultaneous charging of multiple vehicles. Absolute protection of people and connected assets must be guaranteed, implementing power control systems and protections against overvoltage and leakage, while optimizing wiring architecture to minimize losses and voltage drops.

Development

In close collaboration with electrical installers and industrial partners, detailed single-line and multi-line diagrams were designed following the Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulations (REBT) and specifically the ITC-BT-52 technical instruction. The design includes the selection of high-end protective switchgear, intelligent load management systems (Smart Charging), and the necessary insulation coordination to protect both the vehicle and the building or garage network. Complete technical files were delivered, ready for execution and official legalization.

Result
Secure, robust, and scalable charging infrastructures have been implemented, enabling a transition toward electric mobility without operational risks. The precision of the electrical schematics facilitated rapid assembly by contractors, ensuring that stations comply with all current safety and communication protocols, thereby protecting the client’s investment and the continuity of the transport service.
