Legalization of Heat Exchangers
The main challenge lies in managing highly sensitive products (corrosive, toxic, or flammable) operating under limit temperature and pressure conditions. Total chemical compatibility must be guaranteed through the selection of special materials, and structures must be designed to withstand thermal expansion without loss of leak-tightness. Additionally, adapting the constructive ideas of specialized boiler shops into a certifiable design requires extreme rigor in calculating thicknesses and welded joints.
Mechanical dimensioning was conducted following international design codes (such as ASME VIII or EN 13445) for tubular exchangers, selecting the most appropriate alloys for each process. Development includes creating detailed construction plans with SolidWorks and preparing all documentation for the issuance of homologation files (CE Marking). Simultaneously, engineering participates in technical prescription and plant integration of plate heat exchangers, optimizing utility circuits (steam, glycol water, thermal oil) to maximize exchange efficiency.
