The project involved creating a unique piece of equipment that combines exercise versatility in a single frame, integrating high-resistance metallic structures with ergonomic padded surfaces.

Technological Challenge

The main challenge was transforming a conceptual idea into an industrializable product. It required an exhaustive benchmarking study to identify opportunities within current market equipment and designing a structure capable of withstanding intense dynamic loads while ensuring total user safety. A critical point was the optimization of manufacturing processes (machining and welding) to make the product cost-competitive without losing its exclusive design essence.

Development
The engineering was based on fieldwork, including technical visits to specialized centers to validate the equipment’s ergonomics and functionality. 3D modeling of the structure was performed with SolidWorks, selecting the most suitable materials for durability and comfort (structural grade steel and technical padded woods). Special focus was placed on joint calculations and the study of critical points to ensure the equipment complies with current safety regulations for intensive-use sports equipment.
Result

A fully functional industrial prototype was obtained, characterized by its versatility and robustness. The final design not only meets the client’s aesthetic expectations but has significantly reduced machining times thanks to production engineering optimization. The result is a safe, ergonomic training station ready for commercialization in the premium gym sector.
