Custom Industrial Access Solutions

Project Description
Integral design and calculation of personnel access systems (stairs, catwalks, and platforms) and logistical ramps for the handling of bulk materials, sacks, or powders. The project ranges from solutions for bridging complex height differences in production lines to optimized support structures for raw material reception.
Industrial Sector
Food, Construction, and Chemistry.
Technological Challenge

The primary goal is the convergence of strict regulatory safety and productive efficiency. The challenge lies in designing access points that guarantee operator ergonomics and fluid material transport (preventing grain or powder loss), while complying with demanding space limitations and structural resistance requirements for dynamic and static loads.

Development

Engineering is conducted under the rigorous framework of the ISO 14122 standard (Safety of machinery – Permanent means of access to machinery), ensuring certifiable inclination angles, passage widths, and collective protections. Through Finite Element Analysis (FEA), material usage is optimized to meet sustainability standards and the CE marking for metallic structures (per EN 1090), guaranteeing traceability and execution quality. The design is completed with a clean and functional industrial aesthetic, with finishes tailored to the environment (stainless steel, galvanization, or epoxy coatings).

Result

Access and loading solutions have been delivered that minimize the risk of occupational accidents and facilitate maintenance and operation tasks. Structural optimization has led to significant cost reductions, aligning projects with sustainability goals without compromising robustness. The integration of refined aesthetics and superior ergonomics has improved the work environment and the perception of quality in our clients’ facilities.
