Custom Material Handling Systems
Project Description
Design and development of custom solutions for the transport of materials and products. Various projects have covered a wide range of mechanical configurations, from belt and roller conveyors to high-load chain drive systems, designed to optimize internal logistical flow in production plants.
Industrial Sector
Multi-sector (Classic Chemistry, Food, Pharmacy, and Logistics).
Technological Challenge
The primary objective is adapting transport technology to the product’s characteristics (consistency, weight, fragility, or temperature) and the available space. This involves the precise calculation of inclinations to prevent load loss, the dimensioning of gear motors for constant torque, and the integration of pneumatic systems (pistons) for automated product diversion or sorting at critical line points.
Development
Using a modular approach, various configurations were developed using advanced CAD systems. Special attention was paid to material selection based on the environment (stainless steel for food or steels with special treatments for chemistry). The design includes the mechanical integration of high-efficiency gear motors and the development of diversion mechanisms via pneumatic actuators, ensuring ease of cleaning and preventive maintenance of moving parts.
Result
Robust transport solutions have been implemented, allowing for a continuous and uninterrupted production flow. The versatility of the designs has reduced bottlenecks in packaging and processing lines, increasing operational safety and facilitating the automation of product sorting. Each system was delivered with the technical documentation and construction plans necessary for agile manufacturing and precise assembly.
